FAQ

Is the CNPC an accredited college?
The CNPC is not accredited, nor do we ever intend it to be. While we admittedly lose many benefits by not pursuing accreditation, we gain the freedom of keeping our programs from meeting the constraints of outside accrediting organizations. While some may view this negatively because we’re not required to meet certain academic standards, we see it as a way of insulating ourselves against the cultural pressures that ordinary Christian seminaries face.

Is the program that the CNPC offers an undergraduate or graduate level program?
Neither. Because we are unaccredited we are unable to offer undergraduate or graduate level degrees. However, we do consider the academic rigor of the program to be equivalent to a seminary level education.

Are there academic prerequisites that must be met prior to entry in the college?
While we highly recommend that every incoming student receive an undergraduate education prior to entry, we do not require it in every case for admittance to the college. However, every student is required to have a certain degree of Bible knowledge prior to entry, which we assess by means of an entrance exam.

If there is no accredited degree offered to students upon graduation, what job opportunities exist for graduates?
Many of our students begin their time in the college with a trajectory of church planting. However, depending on the graduate’s particular gifts, there exist a variety of opportunities within ClearNote Fellowship churches and missions programs, not to mention a growing recognition of the program’s merit by non-CNF affiliated churches.
