Admissions

Admission to the ClearNote Pastors College is selective. Because of the intimate nature of the training, class sizes are kept small and a new class of students starts only every other year. Normally, students are selected from congregations in fellowship with us, Church of the Good Shepherd, or men personally known and recommended by a ClearNote member.

We encourage men exploring whether or not they are gifted and called to pastoral ministry to move to Bloomington and become a part of Church of the Good Shepherd. This is a good way to approach these matters soberly, with faith that the will of God will become clear.

However, if you believe God is calling you to pastoral ministry, you don’t attend a ClearNote congregation, and you know no one in fellowship with us, we still encourage you to request an application and go through the interview process. Please download the application and submit it to:

ClearNote Fellowship
ATTN: Stephen Baker
2501 S. Endwright Rd.
Bloomington, IN 47403

We ask, also, that you request your pastors and elders to complete and submit their own reference forms, mailing them to the above address. Along with a form, please provide the man providing the reference a stamped, self-addressed envelope so he's able to mail the form to us, directly.

We ask applicants not to read or handle references after they've been completed. This will assure greater candor in the reference process.

Finally, please inform each man providing a reference that he will receive a phone call from us after his recommendation has been received.

After reviewing your application and references, the board of ClearNote Fellowship will contact you concerning the status of your application. Your application will either not be accepted, or you will be invited to visit for an interview. Every person accepted will have been interviewed, personally.
