The Reformed Pastor: Reviving Pastoral Care in the Church
Caring for the sheep is the heart of the pastor's calling. The Apostle Paul defines the shepherd's job as taking care of the church of God (1 Timothy 3:5). He compares the pains of pastoral care to the pains of childbirth (Galatians 4:19). This obligation is difficult, requiring humility, tears, and trials (Acts 20:19). Pastors are tempted to avoid the labor of caring for the sheep, and we need to be encouraged and strengthened for this work. Join us at the 2012 ClearNote Fellowship Pastors' Conference as we help one another recover pastoral care in our churches.
